Rapper Dremo has talked candidly about leaving Davido Music Worldwide, citing the label’s lack of structure and support.
In a recent interview with Echo Room, Dremo disclosed that the label’s management focused more on its founder, Davido, which he claimed had an impact on the development of other artists signed to the label.
He added that he never collaborated with fellow rapper Idowest during their time together, highlighting the lack of cooperation among labelmates. He also mentioned that no collective album was ever released by the label.
Dremo went on to say that the label did not live up to his financial expectations, describing it as more of a platform than a system that actively helped him.
According to him, the experience influenced his decision to remain independent moving forward.
