De@dly Airstrikes Across Gaza Leaves 11 Palestinians De@d, Injųre Several Others, Despite Ceasefire

According to an Anadolu English report of Sunday 15 February 2026, at least 11 Palestinians were killed and several others injured earlier today as Israeli airstrikes struck multiple locations across the Gaza Strip. The incidents were alleged by Gaza’s Civil Defence which said that the attacks marked another breach of the October 10 ceasefire agreement.

Civil Defence officials reported that the deaths occurred during ongoing Israeli bombardment of residential and civilian areas since dawn. Emergency crews said they were dispatched to several strike sites where casualties were confirmed and others were transferred to medical facilities with varying degrees of injury.

A medical source said that five people were killed and others wounded when an airstrike hit a group of civilians southwest of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The victims were reportedly gathered in an open area at the time of the attack.

In northern Gaza, four people were killed in a drone strike that targeted a tent sheltering displaced families in the Al-Faluja area, west of Jabalia. Paramedics and eyewitnesses said that the tent was being used by families who had fled earlier fighting and had limited access to basic necessities.

Another Palestinian was killed and several others injured in a separate strike on a civilian gathering near the University College in the Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood, southwest of Gaza City. Rescue workers said that the wounded were taken to nearby hospitals, some in critical condition.

No immediate details were available regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of the 11th victim, and investigations by local authorities were ongoing.

Separately, residents reported extensive Israeli demolitions of Palestinian homes northeast of the Jabalia refugee camp. The demolitions were accompanied by heavy artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles operating in the area, forcing families to flee amid fears of further escalation.

The ceasefire agreement formally ended Israel’s two-year war that began on October 8, 2023. Palestinian authorities say that the conflict killed more than 72,000 Palestinians and wounded over 171,000 others, leaving widespread devastation. They estimate that around 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed, while the United Nations has placed reconstruction costs at about 70 billion dollars.
