Actor Yul Edochie has been under fire from media personality Daddy Freeze for comments he made about the late Alexx Ekubo and his personal life.

In an internet video, Daddy Freeze made the case that a person’s family life and marital status should be kept private unless they decide to make them public.

He said that he didn’t know some details of Alexx Ekubo’s private life until after his death, but he insisted that it was no one else’s concern.

The presenter also advised Yul Edochie to be more considerate when talking about a deceased coworker, emphasising that not all topics should be discussed in public or on social media.

“I didn’t know Alexx Ekubo had a wife until the day he kpaied. But it’s not my business and neither is it your business. It’s his wife.

Because Yul has decided to bring his own family matter to the fore for us to laugh and joke about, he should have some respect for the late Alex. It’s not everything that is clout. Which one is, ‘why didn’t you let us know you had a wife’. Do you want to start dating his wife? I don’t understand what your business is with somebody’s wife. If he wants to show you his wife he will….”
