American rapper Cardi B and her estranged husband, Offset, reportedly put their differences aside to celebrate the birthdays of their children together.

The former couple both shared Instagram Stories from their son Wave and daughter Blossom’s joint birthday celebration on Saturday, September 5.

Wave turned five on September 5, while Blossom is set to turn two on September 7.

Lavish Disney and Sonic-themed celebration

The lavish birthday party appeared to feature a Disney theme for Blossom and a Sonic the Hedgehog theme for Wave.

Cardi, 33, shared a video of herself dressed in a Minnie Mouse outfit as she joined in the celebrations.

The rapper also showed off a Chipotle spread at the party, joking with her fans about her previous plans to have a Chipotle stand at her wedding.

“Remember when I said if I get married, I’m gonna put a Chipotle stand? Well I ain’t getting married no time soon, but I got a whole bunch of kids and of course I got a Chipotle stand.”

Cardi also shared an adorable video of her eldest daughter, Kulture, 8, performing a runway walk and posing to KATSEYE’s hit song “Gnarly.”

Offset joins birthday celebrations

Offset, 34, also documented moments from the celebration, sharing a video of Wave happily dancing while holding cotton candy.

Despite both being present at the celebration, Cardi and Offset did not share any photos or videos together.

A complicated relationship

Cardi B and Offset married in September 2017 and went through a turbulent relationship that the rapper previously described as involving “a lot of drama.”

The pair separated and reconciled several times before Cardi filed for divorce for the second time in 2024, following reports that Offset had allegedly been unfaithful.

Despite their relationship ending, the former couple continue to share parenting responsibilities, with their children’s birthday celebration providing another public example of them coming together for their family.
