A woman recently astonished her long-term lover with her statements after he supported her through school and helped her achieve a banking career.

According to a social media post by a lady, her colleague had financed his partner through university after she completed her OND.

He supported her throughout NYSC and even used his connections to assist her get a job at a bank. Life seemed to be going well for her.

The man claimed that after his girlfriend finished her OND, he took on the task of supporting her through university, including school tuition, maintenance, and all of the challenges that come with it.

Following NYSC, he assisted her in obtaining a steady banking job, ensuring that her career kicked off in the proper direction.

For years, everything seemed fine. However, he has recently noticed a change in her behaviour. She began arriving home late practically every day.

Whenever he asked why, her responses were always brief: “Work.” “Office things.” “Nothing serious.”

One evening, she returned home around 9pm. Curious, he asked, “Where are you coming from?”

Her reaction was immediate and sharp. “You’re stressing my life. Can’t I be free again?” she snapped.

Before he could respond, she added a line that left him completely speechless:

“Is it because you got me this job? Or because you trained me in school? Calculate everything. I will pay you back.”

For a few seconds, he believed he had misheard her. He says he hasn’t been able to digest what she said since that night.
