As voting takes place in Ekiti State today, June 20, businessman Isaac Fayose has alleged that the Independent National Electoral Commission handed uncollected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to members of the ruling APC.
According to Fayose, APC members in the state would then distribute the unclaimed voter cards to non-indigenes, who he claims would use them to vote in favour of the party.
He further alleged that the non-indigenes were offered ₦20,000 each in exchange for casting their votes during the election.
The allegations have not been independently verified, and no official response was included in his claims.
