A business owner has taken to social media to express her frustration after allegedly being compelled to move her business twice by different landlords despite investing millions of naira into her operations.
In a video shared online, she claimed she spent a significant amount renovating a rented property before unexpectedly receiving a quit notice from the landlord.
She alleged that the landlord initially said the building was needed for personal use but later leased the same space to another tenant running a similar type of business.
After scaling down and relocating to another premises, the business owner said she was once again issued a quit notice, this time because the landlord allegedly intended to demolish the property.
Sharing her disappointment, she said the repeated relocations have left her feeling drained and as though everything she has worked hard to build is gradually slipping away.
