The ongoing conflict between Brooklyn Beckham and his well-known parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, seems to have taken a more serious turn.
The 26-year-old reportedly sent his parents a legal letter asking that all correspondence with him be conducted exclusively through his attorneys.
After failing to attend his father’s 50th birthday celebration, Brooklyn—who is married to actress Nicola Peltz—became publicly aware of his long-standing estrangement from his family.
According to sources, things got worse at the end of 2025 after Brooklyn allegedly blocked his parents and siblings on Instagram. According to insiders, this occurred soon after Victoria liked one of his posts in an innocuous attempt to let him know she was thinking about him before Christmas.
At the time, a source said Victoria was heartbroken and confused by the move, adding that David, as well as Brooklyn’s younger brothers Romeo and Cruz, were deeply hurt and felt cut off.
Over the New Year, Sir David shared an old photo of himself with Brooklyn on Instagram, captioned: “I love you all so much.” Victoria later reshared the post with a heart emoji. However, the gesture is said to have been ignored.
The Sun now reports that Brooklyn has taken things further by issuing a legal notice to his parents, warning them not to contact him directly. He has also reportedly rejected claims that he is being “controlled” by his wife, Nicola.
Despite the family fallout, Brooklyn is said to still be in contact with his grandparents on both sides and is making efforts to keep those relationships intact.
“Brooklyn absolutely adores them and knows how much pain this is causing everyone,” an insider claimed, adding that Nicola has been his main source of support throughout the situation.
Another source revealed that David was instructed to communicate only through a law firm if necessary.
Still, those close to the Beckhams insist David and Victoria have not given up hope of reconciling with their son and remain committed to mending the relationship.
The long-running feud is believed to date back to Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, amid reports that tensions arose after Nicola allegedly chose not to wear a Victoria Beckham design on her big day.
