The twin children and sister of Bayo Adelabu, the former Minister of Power and All Progressives Congress 2027 candidate for governor of Oyo State, were kidnapped by unidentified assailants.

The kidnapping reportedly took place on Wednesday, June 3, in the Challenge region of the state’s Ibadan South West Local Government region.

Confirming the incident, one of the media aides to Adelabu, Femi Awogboro, said

U members were attacked and taken away by the unidentified kidnappers this morning while they were leaving Elewura to connect the express.

This kidnapping occurs weeks after around forty-five students and their teachers were kidnapped by suspected terrorists in a coordinated attack at Ahoro-Esiele in the state’s Oriire Local Government Area.
