Arsenal 2-3 Man United: Dorgu, Cunha score stunners in dramatic win

Manchester United secured a thrilling late victory at the Emirates Stadium thanks to a brilliant winner from Matheus Cunha, extending Michael Carrick’s amazing comeback in command.

Arsenal made a better start and were awarded the opening goal when Lisandro Martinez clumsily turned the ball into his own nett, giving the hosts an early lead. United answered with Bryan

Mbeumo following a costly error by Martin Zubimendi, who was caught in possession and allowed the forward to finish clinically to restore parity.

Visitors gained confidence and took the lead in stunning way.

Patrick Dorgu linked well with Bruno Fernandes before unleashing a thunderous strike that soared past David Raya, quieting the home crowd and putting United ahead.

Six minutes from time, Arsenal believed they had saved a point when Mikel Merino pounced on a scruffy set piece, poking home to draw it 2-2 and trigger wild celebrations.

However, the drama wasn’t finished.

Matheus Cunha struck the winning strike moments after Merino equalised.

The Brazilian twisted a tremendous effort beyond Raya and into the bottom corner, securing United’s dramatic 3-2 victory.
