This afternoon, actress Toyin Abraham responded to an X user who claimed that her kneeling greetings are becoming “unnecessary and looking like eyeservice.”
The X-user made this statement in response to a video that showed Toyin kneeling to welcome businesswoman Shade Okoya at former Ogun state governor Gbenga Daniel’s 70th birthday celebration. Toyin was seen kneeling to welcome Mrs. Okoya and the other visitors in the video. The X user believed that Toyin no longer needed to greet people in this way. She made this remark a few days after Toyin was ignored at a film premiere by actress Funke Akindele.
Toyin spotted the X user comment and responded saying she wiill continue to go on both knees to greet her elders whether anybody likes it or not.
