Will Smith has secured a legal victory after a California judge dismissed a $3xual hara$sment and wrongful termination lawsuit filed against him by former tour collaborator Brian King Joseph.
According to reports, the case was connected to Smith’s 2025 tour operations. Joseph, known for appearing on America’s Got Talent, claimed that an incident during a stay in Las Vegas created an inappropriate work environment and later led to his dismissal from the touring team.
Joseph alleged that while he was away from his hotel room, someone entered the room and left behind items including wipes, beer, HIV medication, and a handwritten note allegedly signed by someone identified as “Stone F.” His legal team argued that the incident amounted to harassment.
However, Judge Michael Shultz ruled that the allegations did not meet the legal threshold for $3xual hara$sment under California law, stating that the claims failed to show conduct that was “sufficiently severe or pervasive.”
The court also noted gaps in the evidence, including reports that Joseph had left his belongings and hotel key inside a transport van accessible to several crew members for hours.
Joseph further claimed he was dismissed after reporting the incident to security and management, but the court reportedly found insufficient evidence linking his termination to the complaint. As a result, both the harassment and wrongful termination claims were dismissed.
