2027: Wike’s community endorses Governor Fubara for second term

Residents of Eneka and relatives of Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area have put their support behind Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s bid for a second term in 2027.

The endorsement was made during the 2025 Eneka Day event at State Primary School One in Eneka, which had the subject “Unity: Our Strength for Progress.”

“Our people stand firmly with Governor Fubara. We appreciate the developments in our communities, and we call on the government to repair our internal roads.”

Chukwu also urged the government to upgrade the Eneka traditional stool, noting, “Elevating our traditional stool to first-class status will strengthen our cultural heritage and promote unity among our people.”

Senator John Azuta-Mbata, political leader of the Eneka Clan and President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, added,

“The people of Eneka recognise Governor Fubara as the legitimate leader of Rivers State. Our support and friendship remain firm and unbroken.”

In his remarks, Governor Fubara offered gratitude to the community by saying,

“I am grateful for your confidence and loyalty. We will prioritise the repair of internal roads and improve access to your communities.”

He further assured that the stool upgrade would begin immediately, saying,

“I have directed the Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs to start the process to elevate the Eneka stool from second-class to first-class status.”

The governor concluded, “A united and peaceful community makes it easier for the government to deliver meaningful development projects.”
