An account of a Nigerian woman’s interaction with the Nigeria Police Force has gone viral on the internet.

The woman known by the X handle, @egunowhispers, revealed that she was followed from Lagos to Abuja due to a claim that she had abducted a 20-year-old girl.

The woman claims that the police picked up her father in order to entice her to leave.

In the meantime, security personnel used her call log’s final three numbers to track down her father.

“I called was how they got to my dad..
imagine getting a call from my mum “what have you done? Who did you kidnap? Your dad is in the police station because they’re looking for you”, 

However, the investigation revealed that the girl she was charged with kidnapping had left her home because she hated her parents.

Even so, her now-viral tweet did not reveal the events that led to her escape.

She thought about suing the police at first, but after the investigation, she was worn out.
