1 k!lled, 3 others injured following sh00ting at high school graduation

A teenager has been k!lled and three other people injured in a sh00ting that occurred after a high school graduation ceremony in California.

Police responded to reports of gunfire at about 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, in the parking lot of Fairfield High School, located roughly 50 miles northeast of San Francisco. The information was confirmed by Officer Michelle Belyea during a news conference, according to reports.

Authorities said the victims included an 11-year-old child and two adults aged 20 and 25, who sustained injuries during the incident. The teenager who was k!lled has not yet been publicly identified.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the att@ck and identify those responsible.

“There was one additional victim, an 18-year-old, who did succumb to their injuries sustained during this incident,” she said.

“This is a very active incident,” Belyea said, adding an investigation is underway, and they have no information to suggest there is “any ongoing threat to the community at this time.”

While one of the sho0ting victims was pronounced d3ad, three others were transported to the hospital, per the Los Angeles Times and KTVU Fox2.

It’s currently unclear what condition the injured victims are in.

Authorities said the ages of the wounded individuals were 11, 20 and 25 years old, while the victim who d!ed was 18, KTVU and CBS News reported.

The incident occurred at the end of a graduation ceremony at Sem Yeto High School, which was being held at Fairfield High School, per CBS News and KTVU.

“It’s a very scary incident when something like this does happen, especially during the end of a school event,” Belyea said in the news conference, per the Los Angeles Times. “So, obviously, we just want everyone to be safe.”
