Afrobeats rapper Zlatan Ibile has sparked reactions online after correcting an MC who referenced the “City Boy Movement” while presenting him with an award at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY).
The incident occurred during the award presentation when the MC attempted to dedicate the recognition to the “City Boy Movement” before handing the microphone to the artiste.
Zlatan immediately interrupted the presenter, making it clear that he did not agree with the statement.
Presenter: “This award is on behalf of the City Boy Movement.”
Zlatan: “I don’t understand what you’re saying. No be City Boy movement we come do for here.”
