A Nigerian man turned to social media to troll singer and politician Bankole Wellington, or Banky W, after he lost the Eti-Osa seat House of Representatives election.

Thaddeus Attah, a Labour Party candidate, defeated Banky, a PDP candidate, in the election on Saturday.

After initially running with the Modern Democratic Party in 2019, he will be losing the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency election for the second time.

After he lost, a social media user by the name of Oriretan Honour made fun of him by saying that Wizkid leaving his record label, Empire Mates Entertainment, ended his musical career.

Additionally, he asserted that after AY ceased producing the Wedding Party movie, Banky W lost two elections and disappeared from the film industry.

When hustling proved ineffective, Oriretan suggested that he pray against the people or designate his wife Adesuwa as the family’s head.

He wrote; “Banky W, your music career went down when Wizkid left. Your acting career went down when AY ended Wedding Party. Joined politics, lost contest twice. Why not pray fervently against ‘village people’ or consider house-husband let Adesuwa be doing the job & footing bills? Hustling not for u.”
