Young woman who gave birth to a son at junior high school receives over $1 million in scholarships to American universities as the best graduating student.

Lamyrical Harris, an exceptional high school graduate from Tennessee, is the first Trezevant High School alumna to ever receive a $1 million college scholarship.

In spite of having to take care of her newborn while still a junior in high school, Lamyrical Harris graduated as the valedictorian of her class.

Her exceptional academic performance earned her entrance into over 24 universities throughout the nation and $1,244,298 in scholarships. She reported that her drive to work harder grew after delivering her child.

“I was scared. It just made me go 10 times harder,” she told the news station.

She studied ten times harder in high school as a result of the birth of her baby, and by the time she rejoined the junior class at the conclusion of the first academic year, she had accumulated $200,000 in scholarships.

Harris went on to explain that by the start of her senior year, she had accumulated an astounding $500,000, and by the time she graduated, she had reached the $1 million mark.
