Geh Geh, a well-known financial analyst from Nigeria, has cautioned men to be cautious in relationships, emphasising that trusting a spouse does not imply they should forget to protect themselves.
Geh Geh made the case that people can truly love and trust one another for years before their circumstances alter while discussing marriage and relationships.
He used the example of football players who had divorced and lost some of their assets, pointing out that these men might have truly loved and trusted their partners prior to their breakups.
Read his words below;
“You feel say life na Nollywood? Life no be Nollywood. When you dey tell me say make them dey careful of women of this generation o. You go come dey hear comments of I trust my wife, I trust my woman. My woman no dey like that. Bro you can trust people and still protect yourself. A woman can be good to you for 5 years make she turn against you in the sixth year. Naso life just be. You feel say all those footballers wey marry women, file for divorce come collect half of their wealth and properties, you feel say them been no love and trust those women? There was a time love dey, trust dey; them love their self, the trust their self. And for that reason they failed to protect themselves and they paid the price…”
