Woman arrested for allegedly st@bbing her boyfriend to d3ath over dinner dispute

A 27-year-old woman, Mikayla Kloth, has been arrested after allegedly fatally st@bbing her boyfriend during an argument over dinner plans in Village of Lac La Belle.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday, April 24, 2026, at an apartment complex in Waukesha County. Authorities said officers arrived at the scene and found a man suffering from a st@b wound to the chest, while Kloth was still inside the apartment.

The victim, identified as 25-year-old Lukas Rosch, was rushed to the hospital but later d!ed from his injuries.

According to investigators, Kloth allegedly admitted at the scene that she st@bbed her boyfriend because she became angry during an argument. While being transported to the police station, she reportedly made several emotional remarks, saying she should have gone to a bar instead and expressing concern that the victim’s parents would now hate her.

Court documents stated that Kloth told police she did not want Rosch to come over for dinner that evening because she preferred going out instead. However, Rosch reportedly arrived at the apartment with chicken drumsticks, seasoning, and plans to cook using an air fryer.

Investigators said the situation escalated into an argument, with Kloth allegedly claiming the victim had been “pushing her buttons.” Authorities added that she appeared to take responsibility for the stabbing and allegedly told officers that if she had to be locked up, she accepted it.

According to reports, the victim had earlier spoken to another woman and the apartment landlord, allegedly saying he feared Kloth after she bit his thumb during a previous altercation. The woman reportedly told police that Rosch appeared genuinely frightened and had asked her to remember his full name “in case something ever happens.”

Kloth has since been charged in connection with the incident. She appeared in court on Monday, where a judge set her bond at $2 million cash. She is expected to return to court for a preliminary hearing on May 29.
