Media star Yeni Kuti has explained why she would be unable to leave her husband should she discover that he had an extramarital affair.

In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Yeni claimed that even though her husband had cheated on her, she was unable to leave him since her mother had never left her father, who had 27 wives. She pleaded with others not to criticise her choice.

‘’I wouldn’t leave my husband if he is cheating. That’s me. You can leave your own husband if he is cheating, that’s you. Don’t judge me. I am not judging you. My father had 27 wives, my mother didn’t go. So its me that will now go because of one girl? It cannot happen”
