After disclosing her unsettling encounter with a gynecologist during a medical consultation, a Nigerian woman has caused a stir on the internet.
She claims that after having trouble getting pregnant with her husband, she went to the doctor in hopes of receiving the appropriate medical assessment and advice.
“I came to you because I have not been able to conceive. I have been doing the do with my husband and nothing is happening. I came to you for help as a gynaecologist, and you’re asking me where my pleasure point is,” she said.
She claimed that the doctor asked awkward and inappropriate questions unrelated to her condition rather than concentrating on tests and treatments related to fertility.
She described the examination as unprofessional and upsetting, and the situation reportedly got worse.
“You told me to spread my legs and started touching me inappropriately, and the next thing you’re asking me how I feel sexual urge. What exactly is wrong with you? Do you want to sleep with me?” she added.
