Senator Shehu Sani, a former legislator, has encouraged Nigerians not to have short memories.
The author contrasted the current behaviour of Peter Obi’s supporters to the violence that broke out in Northern areas when Buhari lost the election in 2011.
He tweeted: “NO patriot should trigger or encourage anarchy;but we shouldn’t also ‘shorten our memories’;what Peter’s supporters are doing in 2023 is more peaceful than what Buhari’s supporters did in 2011. You only need to recall the past in order appreciate the present.”
