Nollywood actor Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has stirred reactions online after expressing surprise at the cost of watching a World Cup match at a viewing centre in the United States.
In a video shared on social media, the actor disclosed that fans were required to pay $30 to watch the match on a giant screen, despite not being inside the stadium.
“We came to watch a match, not even in the stadium. This is just where they put the big screen. Do you know how much they are charging us? $30!” he said.
Amused by the experience, Aki also revealed that parking at the venue cost an additional $30. He joked about the expensive charges while acknowledging that they still intended to watch the game despite the cost.
