Voters flee as thugs destroy electoral materials in Kogi (Photos)

Voters from Kogi have left the Odaba Polling Unit in the Dekina Ward as a result of political thugs’ activities, who arrived in huge numbers to obliterate voting papers.

According to reports, the criminals who showed up armed with weapons and machetes stole ballot boxes, damaged chairs, and scattered voters.

At at 10.10 am, in voting unit 011 in Agassa in the Okene Local Government Area, Governor Yahaya Bello cast his ballot. He hailed the strong participation of voters and their peaceful behaviour after the vote.
