Social media activist Using imprisoned IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu as an example, Verydarkman has openly lambasted nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest for his political affiliation with the APC.
Verydarkman said in a widely shared video that Cubana Chief Priest was attempting to gain power and influence by purportedly joining the “City Boy Movement,” a catchphrase popularised by followers of President Bola Tinubu.
He questioned the businessman’s position, implying that previous statements regarding political backing for Nnamdi Kanu’s release had changed.
With reference to Kanu’s ongoing detention, Verydarkman said that his regard for Cubana Chief Priest now depends on observable results.
He maintained that rather than being used for selfish ends, political endorsements ought to result in significant action.

“You used it to get a lot of clout so that your people will think that you’re fighting for them. Now the agenda is already clear. Nnamdi Kanu is still in prison. You wan go use your small and little influence take get am. I can’t respect you anymore, to be very honest. The only thing that you can tell me now, Cubana Chief Priest, is that this thing wey you dey do by end of February Nnamdi Kanu go commot. If Nnamdi Kanu no Comot by the end of February, you’re a snake and a terrible person. If him no comot, you’re just a typical user that was using his people.”
