On social media, a picture of accident victims from the train and bus being treated on the ground outside the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LASUTH has gone viral. The tragedy happened this morning in the early hours, and several injured people had to be taken urgently to the hospital for treatment.
In a photograph posted online, hospital officials are seen spreading foam in a public area and having some of the sufferers lie on the foam. It is claimed that this occurred as a result of the hospital’s shortage of available beds to promptly house the victims.
