A man has taken to social media to accuse his former wife of being unfaithful after he married her and later travelled abroad, leaving her behind in Nigeria.
Ugwunwanne Darlington, who is based in the UAE, claimed that he returned abroad shortly after their wedding, leaving his wife in Owerri.
According to him, he later confronted his wife and asked her to “come and swear” that she had not been intimate with another man during the period he was away in the UAE. He alleged that she declined to take the oath.
Darlington said her refusal led him to end the marriage. He also went on to caution other men against marrying his former wife.
Posting photos of the woman online, he wrote:
“if you are a man looking for a lady to marry look at this lady very well she is My Ex wife Esther ngozi xxx her name her Facebook name is Esther xxxxxxxx pastor daughter she is living in Owerri world bank area “After our marriage I go back to My Base UAE she started sl33ping with other men in Owerri and her mother support her after I sent her out she started telling people that everything I say is lie I told her come and swear that you didn’t sleep with another man why I’m in UAE and take 1 million till now she no come.”
The post generated mixed reactions online, with some users questioning whether Darlington could also swear that he remained faithful throughout his time in the UAE.
Others questioned the decision to leave a newly married wife behind shortly after their wedding and later demand that she prove her fidelity when he returned.
The allegations have since sparked further discussion online, with commenters debating the circumstances surrounding the couple’s separation and the claims made by both sides.
