On March 1, the evening of Wednesday, President Buhari hosted Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima at his country residence in Daura, Katsina State.
The two were in Daura to give President Buhari their certificates of return.
Members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the party’s national chairman, were with them.
The visitors to Buhari were paying a “thank you visit” to the President following the party’s victory in last Saturday’s presidential election, according to a statement made by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.
At the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja, the certificates were presented to them by Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
