The Edo State Police Command has arrested a suspected k!dnapper allegedly connected to the abduction of a woman at the Vegetable Market in Benin City.
According to police reports, the suspect confessed during interrogation to taking part in the k!dnapping operation. He disclosed that the victim was abd¥cted on Sunday and was later freed after a ransom payment was made.
The suspect further revealed that two cartridges were recovered from him at the time of his arrest. He also allegedly informed investigators that the firearm used during the operation had been handed over to another member of the gaπg.
