Eleven days after a building on Lagos Island collapsed due to a fire breakout, a survivor was discovered alive in an uncommon and heartbreaking incident.
The extent of the damage and fatalities caused by the catastrophe, which happened in a crowded market area at the Great Nigeria House on Lagos Island, left vendors and locals profoundly shocked.
The person was reportedly trapped under the debris and found during continuing rescue efforts, long after the likelihood of finding any survivors had started to wane.
