On social media, a Nigerian wife has won people over by sharing how her husband still supports her financially even though she works.
The woman said in an online post that her husband still covers a large portion of her costs and has never enquired about her pay since she began working.
She claims that her spouse frequently sends her money, purchases clothing and food, and even covers the cost of the cellphone data she uses.
She also mentioned that her spouse reimburses her anytime she uses her own earnings for household purchases.
Read what she wrote below;
“Ever since I started working, my husband has never asked me anything about my salary. He still sends me money all the time, buys foodstuffs, clothes, intact down to the data I use.
“Sometimes I ask myself if he forgets I’m working. If I buy anything in the house, he refunds me.
“And it’s not like he’s very rich o, we’re just comfortable.”
The woman also disclosed that she has been setting aside half of her pay in a another account, which she intends to gift to her husband when it reaches ₦2 million.
She clarified that the gift is her way of saying thank you for his unwavering love and support.
“Now I divide my salary into 2 and put it in one of my accounts. Once it gets to ₦2 million, I want to give him for his business just to appreciate him.
“Please let your followers join me to pray for him.
“Thank you very much Obim,” she stated.
