She was lucky to have an inside cop who was able to make some moves to let her into the office.

Sensational Simisola Kosoko, a popular musician in Nigeria, recently described her experience in a Lagos immigration office.

The mother of one recounted that her clothing, which they thought was too short, nearly prevented her from entering the passport office.

She claims that one of the immigration officers advised her to go home and change into a longer dress before they would let her in.

She was lucky to have an inside cop who was able to make some moves to let her into the office. She was nevertheless instructed to take off her ear and nose jewelry and to borrow a shawl to conceal her shoulders.

She said,

“I went to the passport office to get my passport done and when I reached the gate, they said I should go back because I am indecently dressed.“

I look myself up to down, and asked, can you see anything in my body that is indecent? He said he cannot see, but I should go back and wear something more ‘down’.”
