Patience is the mother of Derick’s children, according to Derick, who claims to be deeply in love with her.

Kwoyela Derick, a Cameroonian guy, has finally found love after years of being passed over by women due to his height.

In January 2022, the 39-year-old instructor and his 28-year-old girlfriend, Kahboh Patience, began dating.

Derick claimed in an interview with MMI that Patience is the love of his life and that he wants her to be the mother of his children.

“Her character attracted me. She is perfect because she gives me maximum respect and she is God-fearing too,” he said.

He claimed that his community is quite intolerant of persons like him who have a height deficiency and that the majority of people avoid him, much less consider getting married to him.

He claims that Patience has heard various unfavorable things about her desire to marry him from cynics, including her friends.

“One of our biggest obstacles was when we were planning to get married. Her friends and some people close to her were complaining and asking why she is getting married to short man like me,” Derick said.

The couple has persevered through all of the criticism and stereotyping despite it, and they have plans to wed.

“I have promised to take good care of my wife. I want our story to be an inspiration to everyone, including those who have lost hope in love. There is a chance and someone special for us all,” he said.

The white wedding ceremony has been set for April 8 in Bamenda, while their traditional wedding has been set for April 6, 2023, in Bali Nyonga.

Patience, a seamstress by trade, stated that she is prepared to support her man “for better and for worse.”
