“Shame on Them” – Pastor Benny Hinn Condemns Pastors Questioning Bible Authority

Popular Israeli televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn has condemned pastors who question the authority of the Bible, describing such actions as shameful and inconsistent with their responsibility as ministers of the gospel.

Hinn made the remarks during a recent sermon shared on YouTube, where he expressed concern over what he considered a troubling development among Christian ministers who cast doubt on the authenticity and authority of Scripture.

“Shame on them,” Hinn said while criticising pastors who question biblical teachings, insisting that those who preach the gospel should demonstrate unwavering confidence in the Word of God.

The televangelist emphasised that the Bible remains the foundation of Christian faith and should not be treated as an ordinary text open to dismissive criticism by those entrusted with preaching its message.

He argued that ministers have a responsibility to uphold the Scriptures and guide their congregations in accordance with biblical principles, rather than creating uncertainty about the teachings they are expected to defend.

The preacher also drew attention to biblical accounts that demonstrate the recognition of Jesus Christ and spiritual truths by forces opposed to God, arguing that such recognition should challenge believers who entertain doubts about Scripture.

He maintained that pastors should be particularly careful about their public statements concerning the Bible because their positions carry significant influence over the faith and spiritual development of their followers.

Hinn urged Christians to remain committed to biblical teachings and called on ministers to reaffirm their confidence in the Scriptures rather than undermine the foundation of the faith they profess to preach.
