Prior to his untimely passing, Murphy reportedly sent the funds to Adunni Ade as payment for a part in his next film.

Actress Adunni Ade from Nollywood has come under fire for allegedly owing late actor Murphy Afolabi N250,000.

Adunni Ade was pleaded with to give the late actor’s money back to his burial committee at the 8-day Fidau Prayer held in his honor.

Prior to his untimely passing, Murphy reportedly sent the funds to Adunni Ade as payment for a part in his next film.

They asked Adunni Ade to return the money in front of the attendees who had assembled for the ceremony.

“Adunni Ade, please return the N250,000 that you owe the late Murphy Afolabi,” the announcer said in Yoruba.
