After a careless Russian propagandist posted the secret location online, the headquarters of Vladimir Putin’s state-backed Wagner Group mercenary troops reportedly went up in flames, killing about 100 people.

After unintentionally identifying the location of the Wagner Group’s base in images posted online, it is believed that the fighters of the Wagner Group were the target of a catastrophic rocket attack.

It comes after The Mirror reported that a senior Kremlin official had surreptitiously contacted the West to ask for assistance in ending the invasion of Ukraine.

In response to claims from Russia, a Kyiv official confirmed the assault on the Wagner base in Popasna, eastern Ukraine.

It’s terrible that this missile strike, which the enemy was able to launch thanks to a careless publishing of the current military positions, was not the first time it occurred,! according to pro-Kremlin Telegram channel Voenny Osvedomite reportl.

Following a visit to the secret location, Kremlin propagandist Sergei Sreda published photos, one of which showed him standing next to Russian mercenaries at a street sign.

The mercenary company that the 61-year-old close Putin confidant leads is accused of committing war crimes in Africa, Syria, and Ukraine. He later claimed that he had “cheated death,” implying that the strike was meant to kill him but he had lived.

A bombed-out structure thought to be the headquarters was depicted in images and video posted by the pro-Russian Telegram channel HS Kharkiv.

The attack, according to Serhiy Gaiday, the governor of Ukraine in Luhansk, “is surely going to be excellent news, with the figure around 100.”
