Ajuri Ngalele, the media advisor to President Muhammadu Buhari, has come under fire for making up information about the woman who was attacked in Lagos during an interview with CNN.

In response to a query regarding violent occurrences reported during the most recent presidential and National Assembly elections, Ajuri stated that the woman was attacked in the South East, an area which Peter Obi of the Labour Party won by a wide margin.
However, other Nigerians have noted that the woman was in fact attacked in Surulere and that some Lagos lawmakers had visited her.
