Police confirm one dead in Ojota crisis, says two police officers were shot at by the Yoruba nation agitators (photos)

According to the Lagos State Police Command, one person was killed in the crisis that shook the Ojota axis of the state early on January 9th.

Yoruba Nation Agitators reportedly descended in their hundreds on the Ojota region of the State and disrupted social and economic operations, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police command’s spokesperson. He claimed that during the altercation, the secessionist group’s members fired shots at two police officers. He continued by saying that the region is now tranquil.
