A young girl was allegedly murdered by a preacher named Alex Itedjere in the Agbarha-Otor town of Delta State’s Ughelli North Local Government Area.

According to reports, on Friday, September 22, 2023, the pastor killed the girl in his home using a cutlass.

As of the time this report was filed, details of the horrific tragedy were still hazy.

Further information revealed that the preacher was saved by the police after being almost lynched by irate local youngsters.

Comrade Israel Joe, a Delta human rights activist who confirmed the incident, had earlier urged the police to act quickly and save the preacher from the wrath of the jungle.
