A mild drama unfolded during a relationship podcast in the United States after a 54-year-old woman shared concerns about her 36-year-old Nigerian husband.
The podcast allows audience members to step up to the microphone, discuss challenges in their relationships, and seek advice from the panelists.
While speaking, the woman asked:
‘’At what point does f!ghting for a relationship become settling for less than what you deserve”
One of the hosts then asked whether she was referring to a husband or a boyfriend, to which she replied:
‘Husband. I am married. I am in a long-distance relationship.”
The host followed up by asking:
‘’How long is the distance?”
She responded:
‘’He is in Nigeria. I am 54, he is 36”
As soon as she mentioned that her husband was in Nigeria, the hosts and members of the audience burst into laughter.
One of the hosts then asked:
‘’You haven’t been sending any money, have you?”
The woman replied:
‘’I send money every month”
In response, one of the hosts exclaimed:

Explaining why she has remained in the marriage despite feeling unloved, the woman cited a Bible verse about doing good to one’s husband throughout her life.
She added:
