This may sound funny, and ok with some people but for majority of Nigerians on an Arik Air flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos, they were taken aback when the Ooni of Ife boarded the plane with his diviner who was performing some sort of traditional rite. For many who have not seen such display of rite, they could not beieve what was happeing on their flight and as we know Nigerians, some began to plead the blood of Jesus.
Passengers were already seated when the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, and his aides walked in, for such a man who knowns that some people may not understand his rite, shouldn’t it have been better to have had him board first and perform his rite or even hire a private jet.
Artist manager, Soso Soberekon who was on the same flight revealed some Nigerians were shaken by the incident that they began to “plead the blood of Jesus.”
