Ghe Ghe, a self-proclaimed financial expert, has responded to celebrity barman and businessman Cubana Chief Priest’s loss in the APC primary election, which came after his unsuccessful bid to earn a House of Representatives seat in Imo State.
In a viral tweet posted on X (previously Twitter), the content creator criticised him over the election results, stating the socialite made a “financial mistake” by entering politics after supposedly spending excessively.
According to Ghe Ghe, the nightlife entrepreneur already had multiple successful enterprises and significant connections, but he wanted to expand his reach into politics.
“Cubana Chief Priest, small support wey you support Tinubu, you run go buy ticket for House of Representatives. Now you don make financial mistake.
“Only you chop club money, chop hotel money, chop music money, chop Davido money, chop APC money. You wan chop Nigerians money join but e no work this time,” he tweeted.
It should be noted that Cubana announced last month his intention to run for a seat in the House of Representatives in the next 2027 general elections.
He made the announcement in an Instagram video, where he stated his intention to represent the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State, but was ultimately defeated by another candidate.
The message has elicited conflicting reactions online, with numerous social media users expressing opposing views on Ghe Ghe’s words and Cubana Chief Priest’s political ambition.
