Ned Nwoko, a billionaire businessman and politician, has taken to the internet to praise Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate.

In addition to recounting his interaction with Atiku twenty years ago, he shared images of the two of them from a PDP rally in Delta State on his own Instagram profile.

Ned claims that when Olusegun Obasanjo decided to run for a second term, there was a push within the PDP for Atiku to challenge him.

He humbledly complied when he and his late friend Bala Kaoke visited him to persuade him not to challenge Obasanjo.

According to Ned, who referred to Atiku as “our next president,” Atiku is a nice man based on his interactions with him.

The Delta state-born business tycoon wrote,

“Even though today was a pdp rally, it was an opportunity to reminisce with our incoming president on what happened over 20years ago when myself and my late friend Bala Kaoje met with the then vp to persuade him not to contest against his boss and how humble he was with his response that as a true muslim, he will support OBJ for his re-election despite the enormous pressure from the then pdp governors to contest against OBJ. He is indeed a good man.”
