The number of governors on the watchlist of the anti-corruption agency has increased, according to Abdulrasheed Bawa, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
On November 17, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, Bawa briefed media at the State House but refused to specify how many governors were currently being watched by the agency or to identify them.
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will be able to control the amount of money in circulation and, as a result, allow for more loans to be made, he added.
