American rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has stirred heavy reactions online following comments he made during a livestreamed gender reveal party for his girlfriend, Aliday Alter.
The livestream featured popular internet personalities N3ON and Adin Ross, where 6ix9ine reportedly stated that he only wanted a baby boy and made controversial remarks about what he would do if the baby turned out to be a girl.
Clips from the event quickly spread across social media, with many viewers criticizing the rapper’s statements. Some people at the party appeared visibly uncomfortable, while others tried to laugh off the comments as jokes. However, 6ix9ine allegedly repeated the remarks multiple times while standing beside Alter, claiming she supported his views.
The gender reveal eventually confirmed that the couple are expecting a baby boy.
Alter had earlier announced her pregnancy in late April, sharing photos online showing her baby bump with the caption: “My world is about to change.”
The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was recently released from prison in April after serving about three months for violating conditions linked to his supervised release. Reports also suggest the couple have been dating for around a year.
