A Ghanaian cleric’s prophecy of an impending worldwide flood is said to have prompted hundreds of people to travel from the Benin Republic to Ghana in an attempt to obtain a spot on what is known as Noah Ebo’s Ark.
The movement is associated with Prophet Eboh Noah, who asserts that God told him that another deluge akin to the biblical story of Noah would bring about the end of the world on December 25, 2025.
The preacher claims that he has received heavenly instructions to build eight arks in order to save certain families who will subsequently repopulate the planet following the disaster.
Large groups of followers are seen coming in Ghana, according to eyewitness reports and social media videos that are making the rounds online. Some of them are believed to have sold their belongings and given the money to the prophet in anticipation of the apocalypse, which is supposed to happen in a few days.
