Mr Macaroni Sends Message To Nigerian Youths After Tinubu’s Victory

Nigerian skit maker and socio-political activist, Debo Adedayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has sent a message of hope to Nigerian youths ahead coming elections.

Mr Macaroni took to his Twitter page yesterday to address his followers, particularly the Nigerian youths, following the outcome of the 2023 presidential, senate, and house of representative elections held last Saturday across states.

The comedian observed that though there were irregularities during the elections, it is needful that the youths should not give up on the country. According to him, the election has only proven that the youths have now woken up and know what they want.

He said despite threats to life and acts that violated the electoral process by some persons, the youth have proven that they have the numbers and their votes mean something.

Recall that Mr Macaroni supported the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Saturday’s election.

However, the former Governor of Anambra State and other contestants lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Reacting to reports of unrest in Lagos following the declaration of the winner of the 2023 polls, Mr Macaroni called for peace among residents. He warned that no youth should allow himself or herself to be used as an element of thuggery by politicians.

Mr Macaroni encouraged Nigerians to go out again in the next election and ensure their voice speaks and their votes count.

The comedian made the calls in recorded video clips shared on his verified microblogging platform on Wednesday, March
