Mr. Macaroni responds to MC Oluomo’s warning to intimidate Igbo voters in Lagos by saying, “Threatening and intimidating voters is prohibited.”

Mr. Macaroni responded to this via his Twitter account, saying that harassing and threatening voters is illegal and should be denounced by everyone.

Before this weekend’s governorship and house of assembly elections, Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman MC Oluomo threatened Igbos. Nigerian comedian and activist Mr. Macaroni has responded.

Igbos who intend to cast ballots for parties other than the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday should stay at home, said Mc Olumo, a well-known APC member, during a recent meeting with a group of individuals.

“Iya Chukwudi, if you know you no wan vote for us, siddon for your house o.” he said in part.

Mr. Macaroni responded to this via his Twitter account, saying that harassing and threatening voters is illegal and should be denounced by everyone.

He also posted a video in which the Lagos State Commissioner of Police requested accountability from the people of the state for the protection and safety of voters.

“The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has asked us to hold him accountable and responsible for the safety and protection of voters. Dear sir, we are already being threatened. The people are counting on you sir. @LagosPoliceNG @BenHundeyin

“The people have every right to vote for any candidate of their choice. Let the people vote in peace!!! Threatening and intimidating voters is unlawful and should be condemned by all. We say No To Violence!!!” He tweeted.
