After failing to meet his bail conditions, singer Portable, real name Habeeb Okikiola, was returned to the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area, Ogun State.

The Zazu hitmaker was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, and assaulting one of his fans.
Today, April 3, he was granted bail in the amount of N800,000 for the three charges against him, with two sureties in the same amount.
Magistrate A.S. Soneye ruled that the two sureties, who must reside within the Ifo court’s jurisdiction, must also be land owners.
However, after the court session, Portable was escorted out by correctional officers and placed in a prison vehicle bound for the jail.
However, after the court session ended, Portable was brought out by officers of the correctional centre and put in a prison vehicle headed to Ilaro.
There are speculations the singer is yet to perfect his bail conditions.
He will be remanded in prison custody until his lawyers meet the requirements for his bail.
The next hearing of Portable’s case is on the 26th of April 2023.
